I was recently hired for a fun photo session with dog parents and their Shih Tzu pups, Khloe and Emmerson.
When speaking with the owners about potential locations and backgrounds for the session, they mentioned they were looking for urban and colorful photos.
I helped select the right location which ended up being the iconic park next to the Savoy Hotel right in the heart of Beverly Canon Gardens. The Gardens and fountain were enchanting and the perfect setting for candid and posed photos – Beverly Hills is such a beautiful place to have a photography shoot!
After an amazing time shooting at the park, we then went to Rodeo Drive for some more great photos!
Here’s a photo of Emmerson running through the gardens with the iconic Beverly Canon Garden fountain in background.
Khloe was a little shy a first and protective of her brother Emmerson, but once she knew we were there to have fun, she was playful and excited.
In this photo, dad and Emmerson share a very sweet candid moment. Some of the best photos are not planned and just happen organically!
Not all dog parents initially want to be included in the photo session, but I have special ways to get them involved.
Khloe and Emmerson’s parents did want to be a part of the session, and their candid photos were some of their favorites!
Here’s a photo of mom and dad sneaking a kiss during the photo session. All in all, we had a fantastic time, and the parents love their photos.
