Are you the one that always offers to take the picture?
Do you think you don’t have a “good side” to photograph.
I always ask dog parents if they want be in the images we take in their photo session. Surprisingly most people will have a definite and quick response knowing if they do or don’t. You most definitely do want to be in the images you just don’t know that you do yet.
I will let you in on a little secret … that I am the one that always offers to take the photo in the group. I always like to be behind the lens instead of in front of the camera.
Do you know what?
Images with your pup will the mean the most to you. I promise. Your pup will love these images too. Just being near you and having you pet and touch them really does make them smile. It will put a camera shy pup at ease too.
I will find fun and inventive ways for you to be “in” the photo without being in the photo!
The sweetness between a girl and her dog is priceless. Her mom loved this image.
One of my favorite shots with the dog parent is what I refer to as the “foot shot”. It can be done barefoot or with some cool shoes.
This little guy was only 12 weeks old and a bit nervous. However, as soon as he was on his Mom & Dad’s lap he was in his happy place.
As you can see there are many fun and cool ways to be a part your dog’s photo session.
Guess who is in this picture? If you guessed Emma and me you would be right. This super yummy cupcake from Frosted Cupcakery in Huntington Beach disappeared right after this photo. Who do you think got most of it?
I hope I have changed your mind about being camera shy!
One advantages of hiring a professional dog photographer (besides the fact that I have professional gear) is that it allows you to be a part of the shoot.
